Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI

We are searching for a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to orchestrate on-prem to AWS migrations and incorporate generative AI into cloud workloads. You will execute migrations with MGN/DMS/DataSync/Snowball, implement IaC and CI/CD, and enable monitoring with CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Prometheus—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of on-prem applications to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches
• Analyze existing infrastructure, identify dependencies and define migration strategy
• Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures
• Perform hands-on migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Automate release and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads such as chatbots, automation and data insights
• Apply Generative AI services in AWS including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Drive AI-driven automation in DevOps and migration processes

Requirements

• Professional 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration
• High-level expertise in AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
• Practical proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS and EFS
• Strong understanding of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
• Working background in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
• In-depth skills in AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
• Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball
• Strong competency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Basic to intermediate exposure to Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
