Job Description:
- In this role, you will collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers to predict and improve system-level performance of products and prototypes.
- Using internally developed simulation tools—including an existing display emulation codebase in MATLAB—you will analyze results to directly enhance product and prototype performance while improving the codebase's maintainability, efficiency, and capabilities.
- Code refactoring in IQToolbox.
- Use simulation tools to model end-to-end performance of display systems.
- Report analysis of these simulations to establish specifications for these display systems and ensure a successful product.
- Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive system performance to create compelling experiences.
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in MATLAB.
- Signal and image processing knowledge.
- Experience with source control.
- Strong software development skills.
- Experience with Python.
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Computer Science, Color Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
