QA Engineer | 6-Month Contract

Omise Pro is a software development company specializing in end-to-end project delivery and digital transformation.

We partner with clients to design, build, and implement technology solutions that support their business goals. This role is part of our delivery organization, working directly with client teams to execute software projects successfully.

You will be joiningOmise Pro, Omise’s professional services team, working on custom software delivery and digital transformation projects.

Why we need you

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help us grow our Omise Pro team. The Omise Pro team will be based in Thailand building Opn products that will be used by corporate clients around the world. These enterprise services and solutions will vary from project to project but will primarily revolve around eWallets, payment solutions, and platforms.

What you will be doing

• Work in an agile/scrum environment, meeting sprint commitments and contributing to the agile process
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Plan, create and execute testing strategies to help find errors and propose effective solutions
• Assist the team to tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to improve the quality of the product
• Design, develop & contribute to the enhancements of automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  

You

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer/Tester/Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
• Experience in performing testing of iOS, Android apps, and Backend API's to ensure that product meets requirements
• Experience with building and writing automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espreso, or XCUItest
• Ability to effectively communicate within a team
• Good writing and communication skills in English
• Good conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem-solving skills
• Experience in eWallets technology and financial services is plus
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Experience in Cypress is a plus
• The ability to code in any programming language is a plus
