Duration: 12+ Months of Contract + possible extension
Shift: 3:00 pm-1:30 am
Job Description:
We are hiring for a Packaging Operator position within our Operations team. This role focuses on packaging completed medical devices according to established manufacturing processes (no gowning required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Package finished units following standardized procedures
- Perform basic assembly, repair, or testing tasks as needed under supervision
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Ensure product traceability and compliance with QMS/EMS requirements
- Follow safety guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate clearly (written and verbal) for audit and documentation purposes
Requirements:
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills and experience using ERP or electronic data systems preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
- Ability to handle small components and prioritize tasks
- Must be able to communicate in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to identify colors for labeling
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must commit to 40 hours/week and complete the first 30 days without absences
