Operations Support Specialist - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Support Specialist - Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 4-month contract opportunity.

This role is focused on executing moderate operational and administrative work within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will administer procedures, handle documentation, and resolve issues related to various banking products such as credit cards, retail banking, and consumer lending, while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate procedures, analysis, tasks and reporting for filing, recording, processing, servicing, and/or organization of documentation
• Review and ensure proper documentation or procedures are used for moderate activities
• Identify and resolve moderate issues by following established guidelines, referring more complex problems to senior staff
• Provide service for moderately complex billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints from customers
• Contribute to workflow or process change and redesign
• Handle regular reporting and analysis requests
• Recommend and implement programs to solve routine issues

Requirements:

• Typically, 1-3 years of experience in an operations role
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; College degree preferred
• Works well with others in a fully developed work team environment
• Open-minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Analytical, research, and problem resolution skills
• Proficient in 10-Key, able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Basic understanding of banking policies, procedures, and government regulations
• Basic understanding of loan documentation
• Proven ability to handle all monetary/processing functions independently and high transaction volumes accurately
• Ability to meet production goals and work with minimal supervision in decision making
• Exceptional attention to detail

Pay range:$22.00 per hour
