Our firm has been retained by a transportation company in Phoenix, AZ to find an Operations Support Associate to join its designated market team. In this role, you'll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands-on support in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service and Vehicle Processing:
- Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
- Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
- Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.
- Operational Support:
- Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
- Complete daily rental operations tasks.
- Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
- Standards and Communication:
- Maintain the company's service standards when interacting with drivers.
- Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
- Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.
- 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role like retail, technical support or hospitality
- Familiarity with the market area
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain patience, identify and solve problems, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under Lyft's insurance policy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
