We are looking for an Operations Officer – Acquiring who will support merchant onboarding, POS and payment gateway deployment, operational reporting, and the resolution of merchant-related requests and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the merchant portal, support merchant registration, and approve new merchant accounts.
Coordinate the timely deployment of POS devices and payment gateway services.
Follow up on merchant onboarding and other acquiring-related operational requests.
Provide operational and technical support to merchants and the Sales Department.
Investigate delays related to POS delivery and coordinate the required solutions.
Prepare accurate operational and transaction reports for banks, the Central Bank of Iraq, and internal stakeholders.
Use Tableau to generate and distribute reports to clients and relevant departments.
Support Verto users and assist with system-related requests when needed.
Raise and follow up on Zoho tickets until issues are fully resolved.
Escalate complex operational or technical issues to the Senior Acquiring Officer.
Assist in delivering training on acquiring procedures to clients and new team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in electronic banking, merchant acquiring, or electronic payment solutions.
Good understanding of merchant onboarding, POS devices, and payment gateway operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT applications.
Experience with Zoho, Tableau, merchant portals, or reporting platforms is an advantage.
Strong customer service, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Good command of Arabic and English.
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced and time-sensitive operational environment.
