Operations Manager/Leader

The Operations Manager/Leader will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                                                            
•    Grow team - Develop and grow management team so they can operate independently at a high level.   
•    Delivery on time - Achieve current OTD rate goal with customers against initial confirmation date.    
•    Make quality product- Achieve current target COQ % and External DPPM target.    
•    Control margins - expense should grow slower than sales, Maintain 10%+ EBITDA.    
•    Support Sales - maintain fast turnaround time< 10 days on quotes - w/ accurate and with appropriate margins.    
•    Produce efficiently - run a lean organization that focused on continuous improvement.  Achieve current Efficiency Goal and Aging WIP (>30 days) goal.   

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Job Experience:
•    10 or more year’s leadership experience in Operations, preferably in printed circuit board assembly.

Training, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•    Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), FDA regulations.
•    Understanding of business support and their involvement.
•    Working knowledge of the Business Operation System in areas relating to primary job tasks.
•    Safety and ESD orientation/training.
•    Working knowledge of East West-Wisconsin process documentation and IPC-A-610D.
•    ISO auditor training.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
•    Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
