Opportunity Overview
- Responsible for performing multiple operational functions (e.g., processing, service, problem resolution and reconciliation) within the department, supported by a comprehensive understanding of the associated workflows and procedures.
- Must demonstrate proficiency across all assigned functions, understanding both how and why the work is performed, while consistently meeting established performance standards.
- Frequently serves as a flexible team resource, supporting workload demands based on volume fluctuations, staffing needs, and overall business priorities.
- May participate in or lead special projects within or outside the department as part of process improvements for External Transfers.
- Assists with the training and development of associates, serves as a mentor or coach to less experienced associates, acts as a workflow coordinator when required, and identifies and implements process improvements.
Position Requirements
- Frequently required to make sound judgments in situations where established procedures or defined parameters may not exist.
- Serves as the first point of escalation for team associates seeking guidance on operational matters.
- Decisions with significant financial, regulatory, client service, or reputational risk are subject to Team Leader review.
- Operates with a moderate to high degree of autonomy due to broad functional expertise and knowledge across multiple operational disciplines.
- Errors may result in financial loss, regulatory exposure, service failures, or reduced client confidence.
- Incorrect decisions may result in future financial, tax, legal, or regulatory consequences.
