Operations Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst - Onsite for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports multiple functions and processes within Payment and Deposit Operations, focusing primarily on procedure development, application testing, and creating test scripts for lockbox operations. As an analyst, you will develop industry expertise, drive strategic initiatives, and provide production support for various payment and deposit applications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operation support of Lockbox applications and additional areas as assigned
• Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support
• Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications in process improvement projects
• Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications (mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, web-based)
• Mine data from primary and secondary sources, often using complex joins across multiple datasets
• Act as a first line of contact for user-reported inquiries and problems, performing problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of preventative measures
• Deliver high-quality support and service to internal/external partners and clients
• Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners and technical material to business areas

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of 2+ years in an operational or support environment
• Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage change and stay on top of task assignments
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills
• Ability to facilitate research and resolution of complex issues
• Strong aptitude for technology-based tools and databases (e.g., Excel, Access)
• Ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly
• Works well in a team-based environment

Desired skills:

• 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience
• Technically savvy in relation to Windows systems and software
• Experience in Excel and Jira with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivot tables and data graphs/visualization

Pay range:$30.00 per hour
