Job Description
As an Operating Expense Analyst, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Best Buy Properties. This role is responsible for entering, validating and maintaining crucial financial and lease data. This position is also the account representative for our landlords regarding all fiscal responsibilities per the lease. This role facilitates effective relationships with our landlords and retail partners by providing frontline services and constant communication as the account representative relating to financial lease payments.This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate landlord billings related to rent, CAM, tax, insurance and utilities
- Resolve balance disputes by analyzing landlord account ledgers in comparison to internal records
- Abstract lease documents ensuring our database is accurate
- “Administrative Tasks” (Stop pays/Supplier changes/Refund checks/Maintenance invoices/Misc. email requests etc.
- Read and interpret lease data and terminology from executed lease documents
- Administer subtenant receivable leases, including billing and collection
Basic qualifications
- 6 Months or more experience with reviewing or interpreting leases/legal documents
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with Oracle, Lease Administration systems
