In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering a notebook experience and building the foundational infrastructure for Generative AI agents. Your contributions will directly enhance Vertex AI Notebooks, as you collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional teams. You will have a passion for learning Google's AI technologies.

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

We prioritize security, efficiency, and reliability across everything we do - from developing our latest TPUs to running a global network, while driving towards shaping the future of hyperscale computing. Our global impact spans software and hardware, including Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, the leading AI platform for bringing Gemini models to enterprise customers.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end (Java, Python, GO, or C++) and front-end (JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent).
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement best developer tools and platform for customers of Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead the technical execution for major product initiatives, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Work closely with our customers to constantly improve user experience.
• Demonstrate a bias for action by balancing product thinking, development, and continuous delivery.
