Operational Excellence Team Leader

• • Lead the annual Hoshin Kanri and Continuous Improvement planning process in collaboration with plant management, defining yearly targets and ensuring tracking through the management CI process; conduct operational investigations and manage OPEX projects to identify improvement opportunities, deliver value, and ensure alignment with plant goals and financial viability through internal OPEX audits.
  • Deploy and sustain the OPEX system across the plant, including OPEX manuals, standards, and routines, ensuring all improvement methods and tools are known, applied, and respected by employees.
  • Drive savings realized from improvement projects and ensure reflection in P&L, demonstrating measurable financial impact and value delivery.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training and coaching plans to build OPEX capability utilizing the Train-the-Trainer principle; lead Continuous Improvement workshops on the shop floor and in indirect areas, developing improvement roadmaps and defining plant OPEX capacity in accordance with OPEX guidelines.
  • Identify, implement, and share local best practices across plant, country, and wider organizational levels to drive systemic improvement and organizational learning.
  • Act as Project Management Office (PMO) for improvement projects within the plant perimeter and lead Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) activities in coordination with Central OPEX to address performance deviations.
  • Build and sustain a culture of operational excellence by ensuring employee qualifications meet operational requirements and that continuous improvement methodologies are embedded throughout all organizational levels.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience inOperational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Production, or Manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge ofLean, Kaizen, CI, problem-solving, and performance management, VSM, KATA & Makigami

• Experience leadingimprovement projects, workshops, and cross-functional teams.

• GoodEnglish communication and presentation skills.

• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Plus / Preferred:

• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

• Experience withHoshin Kanri and OPEX systems.

• Experience intraining/coaching and Train-the-Trainer.

• Experience withOPEX/Lean audits and PMO/project management.

• Experience in amultinational manufacturing environment.
