Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking aSenior Systems Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure while driving automation, reliability and operational excellence across our environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform and DevOps practices to support mission-critical data pipelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Implement and maintain GCP networking, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewalls, load balancing and interconnects
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using DevOps best practices
• Build, run and improve continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins
• Support operational stability for data pipelines through monitoring, standardization and incident response
• Collaborate with Java, Python, data, quality assurance and business teams to enable smooth delivery
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical planning
• Improve reliability, scalability and security across cloud environments

Requirements

• DevOps practices including automation, CI/CD and operational readiness
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with hands-on production experience running cloud infrastructure
• GCP networking including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewall rules, load balancing and interconnects
• Jenkins with expert-level, hands-on experience supporting production pipelines
• Infrastructure engineering across availability, performance, scalability and security
• Problem-solving skills with a practical approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Nice to have

• Data engineering or data pipeline delivery experience
• Hands-on scripting or development exposure with Python or Java in a cloud context
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
