Role Purpose:Plans, directs, and coordinates assembly and test processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Develop, evaluate, document, and optimize assembly, manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes.
- Develop test procedures, instrumentation, software setups, fixtures, tooling, programs, and product routings.
- Analyze production performance, failures, test variability, material performance, workflow, staffing, equipment, and space utilization.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Design, Management, and vendors to support product development and efficient production methods.
- Define inspection and quality processes that meet requirements while remaining cost effective.
- Estimate production times, staffing needs, equipment requirements, and costs to support planning and management decisions.
- Identify manufacturing risks and constraints and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate process, equipment, testing, and project documentation and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Use data and statistical methods to evaluate performance, support continuous improvement, and forecast manufacturing needs.
- Meet cost, quality, and schedule commitments while supporting an injury-free workplace.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and compliance with company policies, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:Â
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) required from four-year college or university; five years’ experience in mechanical assembly or lab testing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
