Job Description Summary:

The Production Operator plays a key role in the identification of performance issues and actively contributes to the resolution of problems and the continuous improvement of the plant performance. This isaccomplished through strict adherence to prescribed equipmentoperating parameters, closelymonitoring the performance of the process equipment, andtaking action to reduce occurrences of both efficiency and/or material losses. Our manufacturing facilities arestate of the art and our inclusive culture ensuresyou will feel like a part of the team on day one.Production Operator IIis on the front lines of our success, andyou will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks.  

WhatYou’ll Do for Us  

• Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks, which includeoperating the packaging equipment and periodicallyprovide relief for other operators, while reporting andidentifying any problems on the production line.  

• Utilize computer terminals, which includeOITScreen software, andutilizeLaboratory Information System (LIS)terminals to track downtime. 

• Perform daily maintenance checks on lift trucks asrequired. 

• SupportTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM) Autonomous Maintenance 

• Set-up,operate, and troubleshoot all casing equipment, includingmarsh printers, bar coding systems, and print & applylabelers. 

• Complete the necessary conveyor adjustments for changeovers and make minor packaging equipmentadjustments.  

Qualifications & Requirements 

• High School diploma or GED equivalent isrequired. 

• Previous experience as a Production Operator  

• Good math and communication skills areessential. 

• Ability to read, write and speak English isrequired. 

• Must be experiencedand able to learn operator OIT controlpanels. 

• Prior knowledge or ability to run automated casing equipment isneeded.  

• Mustpossess amechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up andshutdown, understanding machinery and conveyorcontrols. 

• Must be able toidentify line problems, non-conformingproducts, and employ correctiveactions. 

• The ability to do repetitive stooping,lifting 50 pounds, bending, and standing while operating equipment isrequired.  

• Must be able to work a daily schedule of 8.5 hours with a half hour unpaid lunch, with overtime and extended hours asrequired and work any shift asdirected.
