Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We achieve state-of-the-art, environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies. We are currently seeking a Baler Operator for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Comply with established safety policies and procedures crating 7-10 bales per shift.

• Accurately weighing waste bales and recording bale weights. on bale tallies

• Obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed, feeding waste into the bailing machine.

• Work with returned goods

• Daily cleaning includes cleaning the area around the baler, cleaning the baler box, behind the ram following safety practices.

• Daily blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior and daily sweeping the baler room floor.

• Performs other related duties as directed by warehouse management.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Basic computer skills required.

• Basic math skills required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Experience operating a baler machine.

• 12-hour shift work experience required.

• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Will be required to take a background and drug screen.
