The Opportunity

This position works out of our Zona Franca Coyol – Alajuelalocation in the Vascular division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.

AsPlanner II, you’ll have the chance to be responsible for ensuring that the products made are produced efficiently, cost effectively, to the right quality and ready for delivery to customers. 

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain supply models based on demand FRCST.

• Owns and manages DC Inventory and Delivery and maintains product parameters (SKU’s target inventory levels)

• Participates in cross-functional teams involving various order management improvement activities. 

• Work directly with, Division, Engineers and Ops on product commitments, exception management and new product introductions. 

• Planning and MFG execution reports.

• Ensure Planning KPI metrics are met.

Shift: Administrative

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience 2-4 years in:
  • Related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area. 
  • Planning and Scheduling: Planning resources, balancing the process flow, inventory control, process indicators. 
  • Manufacturing: Process control, problem solving, continuous improvement. 
  • Office: Advance knowledge in Excel (functions, pivots) 
  • Advanced command of English​
