We are looking for a Senior Depositary Analyst reporting directly to the Depositary Services Manager. You will perform, analyse and monitor depositary controls covering cash-flow monitoring, safekeeping of assets and general oversight activities.

What you will be responsible for

As a Senior Depositary Analyst, you will:
- Perform and review oversight controls for a portfolio of investment fund clients, including cash-flow monitoring and cash reconciliations.
- Carry out safekeeping oversight for custody and non-custody assets, including ownership verification, registration and reconciliation.
- Review controls relating to fund valuation, subscriptions, redemptions, income distributions, investment restrictions and transfer agency activities.
- Apply a risk-based approach to identify, investigate and escalate higher-risk items, discrepancies, breaches and overdue positions.
- Maintain accurate control documentation, support colleagues and contribute to process, procedure and control improvements.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

·          At least one year of relevant experience in financial services, custody, fund administration or depositary services.

·          Good understanding of financial markets, investment fund administration and complex investment fund structures.

·          Working knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD regulatory frameworks.

·          Confidence using standard office productivity and data-analysis tools.

·          Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly German, are preferred.

Additional requirements

Experience with depositary oversight, reconciliations, valuation controls, custody or related operational-control activities is preferred.

The position works closely with colleagues across depositary services and with relevant business partners

Minimum Salary:​

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
