Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of authentication solutions that align with the organization's security and business goals.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and security teams to develop comprehensive authentication strategies across various platforms and applications.
- Drive the evaluation and selection of authentication technologies, protocols, and tools, considering factors such as security, scalability, and user experience.
- Provide technical expertise in the integration of authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometric authentication, and single sign-on (SSO).
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in authentication and identity management.
- Lead security assessments and penetration testing of authentication systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Define access control policies, user roles, and privilege management mechanisms based on business requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the authentication and security teams.
- Collaborate with external partners and Vendors to implement best-in-class authentication solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation related to authentication processes, configurations, and guidelines.
