About The Role

 FinOps Operator – Accounts & Wallets Managementplays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of Ooredoo Fintech’s financial operations related towallets, accounts, and transaction flowsin the Tunisian market.

The role focuses on settlement and reconciliation, transaction monitoring, discrepancy resolution, chargebacks and disputes, financial reporting, and banking/partner coordination. It also works closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, IT, and Product to resolve financial incidents and ensure transactions are processed accurately and within regulatory and internal control requirements.

 

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

Settlement & Reconciliation

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation ofwallets, bank accounts, ledgers, and payment transactions.
  • Reconcile internal transaction records againstbank, payment processor, and partner settlement files.
  • Validate settlement amounts, transaction counts, fees, reversals, and outstanding balances.
  • Identify and clearunmatched and unreconciled transactions.
  • Ensure all settlement activities are completed within defined timelines and controls.

 

Transaction Monitoring & Control

  • Monitor end-to-endtransaction flows across wallets, payment systems, banks, and external partners.
  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of transaction postings.
  • Identify failed, pending, duplicate, reversed, or missing transactions.
  • Monitor transaction exceptions and escalate issues affecting financial accuracy.
  • Ensure transaction data is properly reflected across relevant systems.



Reconciliation Breaks & Exception Management

  • Identify, investigate, and resolvereconciliation gaps, financial discrepancies, and anomalies.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on transaction and settlement variances.
  • Maintain exception and aging reports for outstanding items.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, IT, Product, and partners to resolve issues.
  • Ensure corrective actions are documented and completed within agreed SLAs.



Chargebacks, Disputes & Financial Incidents

  • Managechargebacks, refunds, reversals, and transaction disputes.
  • Investigate disputed transactions and validate supporting financial records.
  • Coordinate with banks, payment partners, merchants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track financial incidents from identification through resolution.
  • Reconcile financial adjustments resulting from disputes and chargebacks.



FinOps Reporting & Management Information

  • Preparedaily, weekly, and monthly FinOps operational reports.
  • Produce reconciliation summaries, settlement statements, exception reports, and transaction analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
  • Provide management with visibility intosettlement status, outstanding items, discrepancies, and financial incidents.
  • Support development and improvement of FinOps dashboards and reporting.



Banking & Partner Coordination

  • Liaise withbanks, payment processors, fintech partners, merchants, and other external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate settlement confirmations and investigate settlement discrepancies.
  • Resolve transaction and payment-related queries with external partners.
  • Follow up on outstanding settlements and financial adjustments.
  • Maintain effective operational relationships with banking and payment partners.



Audit, Controls & Compliance

  • Supportinternal and external audits by providing transaction records, reconciliation files, settlement documentation, and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance withFinOps SOPs, financial controls, approval matrices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate audit trails and supporting documentation.
  • Identify control weaknesses and support remediation activities.
  • Ensure reconciliation and settlement processes remain compliant and properly documented.

 

FinOps Systems & Financial Incident Monitoring

  • Monitor financial systems and transaction platforms from aFinOps perspective.
  • Identify system issues that may impact transaction processing, settlement, or financial reporting.
  • Investigate system-to-system discrepancies and data integrity issues.
  • Coordinate with IT, Product, and Operations teams on financial-impacting incidents.
  • Escalate critical issues and monitor resolution through closure.

 

 

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to improvereconciliation, settlement, reporting, and exception-management processes.
  • Reduce manual activities through automation and system enhancements.
  • Improve accuracy, efficiency, control, and turnaround time.
  • Standardize FinOps workflows and documentation across operations.
  • Participate in implementation of new payment products, partners, and financial processes.



Cross-Functional FinOps Support

  • Act as theFinOps point of contact for Finance, Operations, Compliance, Reporting, IT, Product, and other functions.
  • Provide financial and operational input into new products, systems, and processes.
  • Translate transaction and settlement issues into clearfinancial impacts and required actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resolution of financial operational issues.
  • Support the broader organization in maintaining accurate, controlled, and reliable financial operations.

 

 

🧙 What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial operations, FinOps, accounting operations, reconciliation, payments, or transaction processing.
  • Experience inFintech, banking, telecom, digital payments, or related financial services is preferred.
  • Hands-on exposure towallets, payment platforms, transaction processing, settlements, or reconciliation.
  • Experience coordinating withbanks, payment partners, merchants, or regulatory entities is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability toidentify discrepancies, investigate issues, and support timely resolution.
  • Comfortable working acrossFinance, Operations, Compliance, IT, and external partners.


📍 Priority will be given to Tunisian nationals / local candidates for this position.
