Job Summary

Role Purpose

Candescent is seeking a Senior Integrated Marketing Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our most important marketing programs from one of our India office locations. This role leads integrated campaigns and go-to-market initiatives that build brand visibility, generate pipeline, and support product and segment growth.

You will be marketing leadership’s trusted planning partner — turning priorities into operating cadences, decision-ready materials, and clear owners, milestones, and outcomes.

You will co-own execution alongside functional leads across brand, product marketing, web, demand generation, events, and marketing operations, bringing the programmatic rigor that keeps complex work on track. Beyond individual programs, you will help define how marketing operates together, establishing the operating model, cadences, and ways of working that scale as the team grows.

This is a senior role with direct exposure to the marketing senior leadership team. You will also serve as a senior leader within the India marketing operations team, partnering closely with the US-based Marketing Operations lead and the US-based process and program management counterpart.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

What you will be responsible for and what you will do

Program Planning & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional marketing programs, from intake and planning through launch, measurement, and optimization.
  • Translate business and marketing priorities into integrated roadmaps, milestone plans, dependency maps, and risk registers.
  • Co-own execution alongside functional leads, partnering with product marketing on launches, brand on creative delivery, and demand generation on campaign activation.
  • Ensure campaign briefs, objectives, audience definitions, content requirements, channel plans, measurement plans, and launch criteria are agreed before work enters execution.
  • Manage portfolio-level visibility across concurrent programs, including prioritization, capacity trade-offs, escalation, and delivery risk mitigation.
  • Own the integrated marketing calendar as the shared view of what marketing is delivering and when, using it to drive sequencing, prioritization, and capacity conversations.

Operating Cadence & Governance

  • Build and run the operating cadences that keep priorities, risks, dependencies, and next steps visible, including status reviews, planning cycles, and launch readiness forums.
  • Help define how marketing operates together — establishing the operating model, rituals, and ways of working that scale as the team and its remit grow.
  • Improve intake, prioritization, approval, and launch governance processes, and build the templates, checklists, and standards that make delivery repeatable.
  • Facilitate senior stakeholder alignment, ensuring decisions, scope changes, approvals, and dependencies are documented, communicated, and resolved.
  • Keep planning tools and the marketing calendar current and trusted, so conflicts, gaps, and over-commitment surface before they affect delivery.

Executive Engagement & Reporting

  • Partner directly with the marketing senior leadership team on planning, prioritization, and trade-off decisions, and bring forward the information they need to decide.
  • Synthesize inputs from marketing, sales, product, and agency stakeholders into decision-ready briefings and reporting for leadership.
  • Provide executive-ready visibility into program health, launch readiness, risks, blockers, trade-offs, and decisions required.
  • Partner with marketing operations and analytics to ensure tracking, measurement plans, and success metrics are defined and operational before launch.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with senior leaders, simplifying complex workstreams and presenting trade-offs rather than escalating problems without options.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Serve as a senior leader within the India marketing operations team, providing direction, review, and coaching to other team members and raising the standard of delivery across the group.
  • Be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and consistency of the programs the India team delivers.
  • Coordinate closely with the US-based Marketing Operations lead on priorities, intake, status, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with the US-based process and program management counterpart to keep standards, templates, and ways of working consistent across regions.
  • Build capability that outlasts any one individual — success is measured not only by what you deliver, but by how well the team can deliver without you.
  • Apply AI tools practically to accelerate briefs, status reporting, documentation, and synthesis, and help the team adopt them in day-to-day ways of working.
  • Maintain a working schedule with sufficient overlap with US business hours on at least a few days each week to enable live collaboration, reviews, and decision-making.

Experience

Demonstrated skills, competencies, and required experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing program or project management, integrated campaign delivery, or marketing operations, including significant time at a senior level.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-channel marketing programs in a fast-paced B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive accountability across functions.
  • Experience running an integrated marketing calendar or equivalent planning system across multiple teams and channels.
  • Experience working directly with senior marketing leadership on planning, prioritization, and trade-off decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of how marketing moves from brief to content creation, channel activation, launch, and performance reporting.
  • Practical fluency across core marketing channels, including email, web, webinars, events, paid media, organic social, and ABM programs.
  • Experience overseeing delivery of marketing content such as emails, landing pages, ads, case studies, videos, event assets, and sales enablement materials.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, present trade-offs, and escalate risks with recommendations.
  • Experience establishing or improving marketing execution processes, intake models, and governance cadences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Qualifications & Preferred Distinctions

Additional accomplishments

  • PMP, agile, or equivalent program management certification is preferred.
  • Experience in technology, financial services, SaaS, or other complex enterprise go-to-market environments is preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and work management platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or Workfront.
  • Experience leading ABM or account-focused programs, including target account prioritization, sales alignment, and account-level performance tracking.
  • Experience managing external agencies, media partners, freelancers, or offshore and shared-services delivery teams.
  • Working knowledge of campaign measurement, including engagement and conversion metrics, pipeline influence, attribution, and funnel movement.
  • Experience building a new team, function, or delivery model from the ground up is a strong plus.
  • Experience collaborating across geographies and time zones is helpful.
