Off Duty Management (ODM)partners with law enforcement agencies across the country to provide innovative off-duty employment management services that protect officers, reduce administrative burden, and support public safety. We are Built By Officers For Officers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly connected, energetic, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to serve as the face of ODM throughout the Mid-Atlantic Territory.
This is not a desk job.You will meet Chiefs, Sheriffs, command staff, and industry leaders; attend conferences; build strategic partnerships; open doors through your network; and help agencies implement solutions that make a meaningful difference.

What You'll Do
- Serve as ODM's primary relationship-builder and business development representative throughout the Mid-Atlantic region (North and South Carolina, plus 3 or 4 additional states).
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on new agency partnerships and long-term relationship development.
- Build trusted relationships with Chiefs, Sheriffs, command staff, association leaders, and other influential law enforcement professionals.
- Create new opportunities through personal outreach, referrals, professional associations, industry events, and continuous networking.
- Represent ODM at law enforcement conferences, trade shows, command staff meetings, state association events, and networking functions.
- Lead compelling presentations and consultative conversations that address real operational challenges facing agencies.
- Identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities from initial contact through partnership.
- Partner with the Chief Partnership Officer, Directors, and internal teams to achieve growth objectives and support strong customer relationships.
- Maintain an active, well-documented opportunity pipeline and consistently generate new agency connections.

Required Qualifications
- Must reside within the East Coast area; within North or South Carolina is preferable, or immediate vicinity.
- Significant law enforcement leadership experience or demonstrated success developing business relationships within the law enforcement sector.
- An established network of law enforcement professionals in North Carolina, South Carolina, or the surrounding region.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, CRM tools, and mobile technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of theFBI National Academyand active involvement withFBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) strongly preferred.
- FormerChief, Sheriff, Assistant Chief, Major, Captain, or comparable command-level leadership experience.
- Experience serving in law enforcement associations, boards, academies, or professional organizations.
- Previous business development, partnership development, account management, relationship management, or consultative sales experience.
- Five or more years of law enforcement leadership experience, or five or more years of demonstrated success securing business relationships with command-level personnel in law enforcement agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
