Principal, Head of Technology Consulting & Solutions

Position Summary

The Head of Technology Consulting & Solutions is responsible for leading IQVIA Korea's technology-enabled business portfolio, driving commercial growth, client transformation, operational excellence, and strategic expansion of IQVIA's global and local technology solutions.

This role owns the full business lifecycle including sales, consulting, solution design, delivery oversight, customer success, team leadership, and business unit financial performance.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare organizations, helping clients leverage data, technology, AI, omnichannel engagement, CRM, patient support technologies, and digital platforms to improve commercial and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Leadership & P&L Ownership

• Own overall revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the Technology Solutions business.
• Develop and execute annual business plans, growth strategies, and investment priorities.
• Drive sustainable growth across IQVIA global technology solutions and locally developed offerings.
• Identify and incubate new growth opportunities in digital health, AI, patient services, CRM, omnichannel engagement, and healthcare technology.

2. Sales & Client Growth

• Lead business development activities and key account expansion efforts.
• Build C-level relationships with executives across pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare organizations.
• Drive large-scale strategic deals and multi-solution opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Consulting, Data Science, and other Commercial Solutions teams.
• Create cross-selling opportunities across IQVIA's broader portfolio.

3. Technology Advisory & Consulting

• Act as strategic advisor on healthcare digital transformation initiatives.
• Translate client business challenges into technology-enabled solutions.
• Lead executive workshops and solution discussions.
• Provide expertise in: CRM & Omnichannel Engagement, Sales Force Effectiveness, Customer Data Platforms, AI & Advanced Analytics, Patient Support Technologies, Commercial Operations, Digital Health Platforms
• Develop thought leadership and market-facing innovation narratives.

4. Solution Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Oversee delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure successful implementation of technology programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Establish scalable operating models and governance structures.
• Partner with global delivery teams and regional technology organizations.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise software, healthcare technology, or life sciences consulting.
• Proven experience leading commercial technology businesses.
• Demonstrated success owning revenue and P&L responsibilities.
• Track record of leading large-scale client transformation programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred Industry Experience: Pharmaceutical, Digital Health, Health Technology, Consulting
