Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionateCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on afull-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with our licensed Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans that help our residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Therapy: Implement skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Empower Residents: Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and ADL training to maximize their independence.
• Track Progress: Document resident responses to treatment daily, ensuring accurate electronic medical records (EMR) compliance.
• Collaborate: Communicate frequently with the supervising OTR regarding resident progress, status changes, and modification needs.
• Team Work: Intersect seamlessly with physical therapy, speech therapy, and nursing teams to ensure comprehensive, interdisciplinary patient care.

Schedule & Benefits

• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Compensation: Premium hourly pay of$50.00 to $55.00/hour (based on experience).

Qualifications

• Current and validCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License in good standing with the State of California.
• Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute rehab setting is a plus, butnot required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic attitude, and a genuine passion for geriatric rehabilitation.
