Reports to: Director of Production ServicesÂ
Hours Commitment: 40–45 hrs/week, Wednesday–Sunday (regular weekend work, occasional extended hours during seasonal events, and monthly All Staff Tuesdays/LCBCU) Â
Objective: Support LCBC's Manheim campus by preparing, maintaining, and operating audio, video, and lighting systems, while developing and leading volunteer tech teams. This role blends relational leadership with hands-on technical production, helping create excellent environments for weekend services, student gatherings, and campus events (weddings, funerals, graduations, Manheim Worship Night, and more).Â

Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and lead volunteer tech teams Â
Operate and troubleshoot sound, lighting, and video systems in live environments Â
Coordinate tech support for scheduled campus events and student gatherings Â
Maintain and adapt AVL systems to meet evolving needs Â
Collaborate with campus and central production staff to align with ministry goalsÂ
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of professional AVL systems (audio consoles, lighting, video routing/switching)Â Â
Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions in fast-paced, live production settings  Â
Physical ability to set up/tear down equipment, climb ladders, and lift overhead  Â
Strong leadership and volunteer development skills Â

Evaluation:Â
The Manheim Production Tech will meet regularly with the Director of Production Servicesfor planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.Â
