Roche is looking for a Finance Director, an enabling team member primarily responsible to be a strategic thought partner and advisor to the affiliate on strategy, performance, resource allocation, commercial decisions and strategic planning. As a natural leader, you are expected to leverage a strong entrepreneurial mindset with excellent business acumen with responsibility to deliver the tender contracting business targets, deliver financial governance, develop business plans and provide analytical insight and business judgment to support strategic and tactical initiatives across the affiliate. The Finance Director will lead key affiliate functions including finance, supply chain, tenders, procurement, operational pricing (including mature product portfolio).

Your Opportunity
- Formulate a local finance strategy balancing global /PI requirements with affiliate priorities;
- Foster a close business collaborating approach to address the needs of the business and its strategy whilst taking into account the broader implications from an enterprise perspective;
- Act as key advisor to Pakistan Enabling Team by reviewing overall commercial, access and medical activities and financial performance against targets, identifying opportunities, developing proposals on improvements, assessing proposals and making recommendations on strategies to be implemented as required;
- Manage operational performance by tracking performance against targets, identifying anomalies and implementing corrective action as and when required;
- Lead commercial tendering business across Pakistan ensuring close collaboration with therapy area teams ensuring collaboration and commercial excellence;
- Lead pricing strategies for the complete portfolio including any new launches; managing the transfer pricing every year ensuring local profitability while adhering to the transfer pricing guidelines.
- Develop financial strategies that ensure compliance, and enable the delivery of more medicines to patients faster;
- Oversee the affiliate procurement process, with focus on value delivery for Roche, balancing costs, service quality, compliance and strategic partnerships;
- Oversee the local finance & accounting function, ensuring adherence to Roche Group Accounting, local accounting standards, tax and customs;
- Oversee the supply chain process ensuring a timely and efficient delivery of our drugs;
- Cultivate a focus on personal development whilst creating and nurturing a winning team through coaching and leadership;
- Oversee operations and governance of Patient Support programs
- Be an active member of the Finance Network and contribute to enterprise outcomes beyond Pakistan
- Ensure compliance of all Finance practices within the area of responsibility and beyond.
- Responsible to report incident / accident immediately to SHE department. Attend / complete all requisite on-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety Responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limit.
Who you are:
- You have a minimum of 7 years of finance experience and (preferably) holds a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA) or a Post-graduate University Degree/MBA.
- Proven record of ensuring financial governance and project participation/lead with strong experience in impactful strategic decisions.Â
- Exhibit leadership competencies and has in-depth knowledge & broad experience in the finance world.
- Financial acumen for targeted and robust analysis, modelling, insights, strategic recommendations, reporting and monitoring of outcomes investment analysis.
- Experience and maturity to influence across strategy, operations and leadership / culture issues.Â
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational & time management skills with proven abilities to manage multiple competing objectives, goals or other priorities to an effective & efficient conclusion.
- Displays integrity in everything he/she does (i.e. open, honest, ethical and genuine).
