CRUX Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Cost & Value Analysis

• Performfactory overhead cost analysis (DL/IDL, utilities, maintenance, indirect materials, support functions).
• Conductpackage-level cost breakdown and value analysis (DFPC (die free cost package) cost/Kpc, process cost drivers).
• Identifynon-value-added activities and improvement opportunities using structured cost models.
• Supportyear-on-year cost reduction targets and productivity initiatives.

Cost Reduction & Proposal Development

• Developcost-down proposals with clear financial impact, assumptions, and risk assessment.
• Quantify savings fromprocess improvements, automation, layout optimization, and resource right-sizing.
• Prepare business cases forCAPEX vs OPEX trade-off analysis.
• Track and validaterealized savings vs committed savings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely withFinance to align costing methodology, assumptions, and financial validation.
• Partner withManufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Facilities to identify cost-reduction levers.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops toidentify activities for cost-down and value enhancement.

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare management-level reports oncost trends, savings progress, and variance analysis.
• Support budget planning, forecast reviews, and strategic cost discussions.
• Ensure cost initiatives are aligned withbusiness priorities and compliance requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical & Analytical

• Understanding ofmanufacturing processes especially SOT,SOD,QFN,NQFN packages

• knowledge ofmanufacturing cost structures (overhead, variable, fixed costs).
• Experience inpackage cost analysis / DFPC / cost per unit modeling.
• Solid analytical skills usingExcel, cost models, and data analysis tools.

Business & Collaboration

• Ability to translate technical improvements intofinancial impact.
• Strong stakeholder management andcross-functional communication skills.
• Structured problem-solving andfact-based decision making.

Comfortable working withFinance, Operations, and Engineering leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree inEngineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing, cost engineering, industrial engineering, or operations excellence (semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing preferred).
• Experience working closely withFinance / Costing teams is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications (preferred but not mandatory) - Finance for Non-Finance certification
• Experience either in process and Manufacturing semiconductor.
