Capital Project Manager

The role is based inNew Century, KS (onsite role). You will play a critical role in delivering site capital projects that support safe, efficient, and reliable food ingredients manufacturing operations. Working closely with site leadership and cross‑functional partners, you will help translate business needs into executed capital solutions.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Lead theend‑to‑end execution of site minor capital programs, with a total portfolio value up to$5M and individual projects typically up to$1M
• Execute projects frominception through operational handover, ensuring compliance with site and corporate engineering and safety processes
• Partner withoperations, maintenance, engineering, technology, safety, quality, and procurement to deliver robust project outcomes
• Drivedesign development, constructability, and safety‑in‑design throughout all project phases
• Maintain disciplined control ofcost, schedule, and performance, including forecasting and monthly capital reporting
• Manage internal resources andexternal engineering and construction partners to ensure scope, quality, and schedule adherence
• Supportreadiness‑to‑operate, commissioning, and close‑out activities, including documentation and financial closure
• Contribute tosite capital planning, supporting project prioritization aligned to operational and business needs

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree inEngineering (Process/Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, Bio‑Tech) or equivalent technical experience
• 2+ years of experience executing capital projects in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge ofengineering fundamentals, industry codes, and manufacturing systems
• Experience withproject management fundamentals including scheduling, cost control, and risk management
• Familiarity withmanufacturing processes, utilities, equipment, DCS systems, and Management of Change (MOC)
• Ability tomanage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a site environment
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively acrosscross‑functional and external teams
• Comfort working in ahands‑on, onsite manufacturing setting

• OSHA 30 (Construction Safety) or equivalent certification
