IT Business Analyst

Role Summary

As anIT Business Analyst, you'll join ourBusiness Banking technology team, working in an Agile product environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver technology solutions that support critical banking services. Through your analytical skills and business insight, you'll help create experiences that make banking easier and more effective for our customers.

Working alongside colleagues across ING's global network, you'll play a key role in turning business needs into scalable and valuable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineers to define and deliver solutions.
• Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Support backlog refinement, roadmap discussions, and Agile delivery activities.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Assess business impacts, risks, and dependencies related to proposed solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Banking domain.
• Build strong relationships with local and global stakeholders across different functions.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as anIT Business Analyst,Business Analyst, or a similar role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working withinAgile delivery teams.
• Understanding of business process analysis and process improvement.
• Experience working withREST APIs, system integrations, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with tools such asAzure DevOps,Confluence,Postman, andSwagger.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and international teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience withinBusiness Banking, Financial Services, or a related industry.
• Knowledge ofmicroservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Exposure to digital banking platforms and customer-facing applications.
• Experience working in global or multicultural environments.
