Summary of Role:
Providestechnical and execution leadership forRF, Analog, and Mixed‑Signal subsystems used in GlobalFoundries’Smart Analog and Sensor device portfolio, includingradar transceivers, sensor front‑ends, power, data converters, and mixed‑signal SoCs for automotive, industrial, and IoT applications.
Acts as thetechnical authority for RF/Analog architecture, design quality, and silicon execution, working closely with Product, Systems, Digital, Software, and Manufacturing teams to deliverautomotive‑grade, high‑volume sensor and RF silicon.
Essential Responsibilities
LeadRF, analog, and mixed‑signal architecture and execution across smart sensor and RF‑centric products (e.g., radar FE/transceivers, sensor interfaces, PMIC blocks, data converters).
Ownend‑to‑end technical quality of RF/analog subsystems from concept, circuit design, and verification through silicon bring‑up, validation, and production.
Serve as thedesign authority for critical RF and analog blocks, including performance trade‑offs across noise, linearity, power, area, and robustness.
Drive alignment betweensystem requirements, circuit design, layout, reliability, and test strategies.
Partner closely withprocess technology, modeling, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for GF platforms (e.g., FD‑SOI, RF CMOS, advanced packaging).
Supportcustomer and program engagements as the senior RF/Analog technical interface when required.
Influence and mentor engineers throughtechnical leadership, reviews, and best‑practice definition (no direct people management required).
Core Competencies
Deep expertise inRF, Analog, and Mixed‑Signal circuit design
System‑to‑silicon translation forsensor and RF‑centric SoCs
Automotive‑grade design robustness and reliability
Cross‑disciplinary influence across digital, software, and manufacturing
Strong silicon debug, bring‑up, and characterization leadership
Other Responsibilities:Â
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Â
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
15+ years of experience in RF/analog or mixed‑signal semiconductor design.
Proven delivery ofRF or sensor‑centric silicon into volume production.
Strong hands‑on background incircuit design, verification, layout considerations, and silicon validation.
