Cardiac Sonographer (part-time)

Job Description:

TheCardiac Sonographer is responsible for producing diagnostic images using sonography equipment. Sonographers are equipped with the technical skills to handle the imaging equipment and interpersonal skills necessary for providing high-quality patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Associate Degree in Cardiac Sonography required. Bachelors Degree is preferred. 

Experience: Vascular experience preferred (will train).

Certifications/Licenses:

• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer (RDCS) or registry eligible (RDCS to be obtained within first year of employment) required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) with a recommended renewal date required.
