Workingfromdetailedscriptsanddirection,you'llportraythesignsandsymptomsofvariousmedicalconditionsinasimulatedpatientroom—helpinglearnersbuildtheempathy,connection,andclinicalassessmentskillsthatmakegreathealthcareproviders.Noinvasiveproceduresareinvolved,andshiftsarescheduledonanas-neededbasisaroundtheSimulationCenter'strainingcalendar,makingthisagreatflexible,part-timeopportunity.

WhatYou'llDo

• Accuratelyportrayapatient,simulatingandverbalizingavarietyofphysicalsymptomsandbehaviors
• Participate in healthcare simulation activities that may include interviews, history-taking, and selected non-invasive physical activities while maintaining personal comfort and established program guidelines.
• Memorizedetailedpatienthistoriesandcaseinformationtorespondauthenticallytolearners'questions
• Provide constructive feedback to learners from the patient perspective using established feedback tools and guidelines.
• Becomfortablebeingvideotapedand/orobservedduringexams
• Bringflexibilitytoyourscheduleandcommittoshiftsasbooked

Required:

• HighschooldiplomaorGED

Preferred:

• Acting,theatre,ordramaexperienceortraining
• Multi-lingualproficiency
