Workingfromdetailedscriptsanddirection,you'llportraythesignsandsymptomsofvariousmedicalconditionsinasimulatedpatientroom—helpinglearnersbuildtheempathy,connection,andclinicalassessmentskillsthatmakegreathealthcareproviders.Noinvasiveproceduresareinvolved,andshiftsarescheduledonanas-neededbasisaroundtheSimulationCenter'strainingcalendar,makingthisagreatflexible,part-timeopportunity.
WhatYou'llDo
- Accuratelyportrayapatient,simulatingandverbalizingavarietyofphysicalsymptomsandbehaviors
- Participate in healthcare simulation activities that may include interviews, history-taking, and selected non-invasive physical activities while maintaining personal comfort and established program guidelines.
- Memorizedetailedpatienthistoriesandcaseinformationtorespondauthenticallytolearners'questions
- Provide constructive feedback to learners from the patient perspective using established feedback tools and guidelines.
- Becomfortablebeingvideotapedand/orobservedduringexams
- Bringflexibilitytoyourscheduleandcommittoshiftsasbooked
