PHYSICIAN- Pediatric Hospitalist

Fargo, North Dakota

·         Seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalists as part of the growth within the pediatric inpatient services at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.

• Well-established, well-respected, and growing practice. Includes 3 physicians & 3 APP’s.  
• Scheduling consists of consecutive blocks, 24 hour shifts
• Advanced Practice Provider works with physician for dyad coverage

·         Hospitalists do not cover ICU, Peds ICU, or NICU.

·         Excellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance.

·         Average pediatric census of 2 to 3 patients per day.

·         Daily newborn rounding coverage

• Special procedures preferred/required: Circumcisions.
• Other procedures dependent on experience.
• Leadership options available

REQUIREMENTS

• BE/BC Pediatrician
• Pediatric candidates only
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

LOCATION

• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota
• 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Fargo-Moorhead population: 240,000
