Making your impactÂ
- Carry out first line response to faults, blockages and issues on or around automated material handling equipmentÂ
- Carry out tasks under limited supervision within approved guidelines and follow Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and method Statements Â
- Receive and complete work orders within planned or reactive work assignmentsÂ
- Resolve faults / blockages / issues within agreed timescales to ensure service deliveryÂ
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all timesÂ
- Assist the Maintenance Technician with daily maintenance tasks and help them resolve breakdowns Â
- Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain customer relationsÂ
- Be proactive to help with efficiency of the system and reduce breakdowns.Â
Â
Contributing to the teamÂ
- Basic understanding of mechanical / electrical machinery is desirableÂ
- Experience of working in a warehouse or automated environmentÂ
- Fair/Good IT skillsÂ
- Good communication, numeracy and written skills and a strong customer focusÂ
- Strong Health & Safety mindsetÂ
- Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts & weekendsÂ
- Ability to work with and compliment/contribute to a high performing teamÂ
- Input ideas into the team to help make site and team improvements.
