Part Time Babysitter – Chesapeake, VA

A welcoming active military family  in Chesapeake, VA 23321  is seeking an experienced and compassionate babysitter for their two young children (ages 3 and 6).

Schedule:

• Start Date: Asap
• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• **Flexible schedule focused primarily on occasional school pickups, after-school activities, and a weekly date night

Family Specifications:

• Smoke free home
• 7 year old Golden retriever
• Active military family

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging personal care, including assistance with bathing and dressing
• Plan meals, prepare food, and feed the children
• Provide safe transportation to and from school and extra-curricular activities
• Accompany children to activities outside the home

Requirements:

• Proven child caregiving or babysitting experience
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record
• Ability to safely transport children to activities (gas stipend/reimbursement provided)
• Comfortable around pets 

Preferred:

• First Aid/CPR certifications

Compensation:

• $20–$23 per hour
• Gas stipend / mileage reimbursement for driving using personal vehicle
