The Senior Engineering Operations Leader is a pivotal role within the Offshore Systems organization. You will serve as the operational backbone for our Engineering teams, driving excellence across Systems and Subsystems. You will bridge the gap between technical design and operational execution, ensuring our teams are equipped with the right processes, tools, and data to deliver high-quality engineering solutions safely and efficiently.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Operational Clarity:Â Lead and track performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) across the Offshore Engineering organization to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Engineering Lifecycle Management:Â Oversee the integrity of engineering changes; manage the seamless integration of design updates into the product structure.
- Strategic Enablement:Â Develop and deploy best-in-class training, digital tools, and operational frameworks to improve team velocity and technical rigor.
- Budgeting & Resource Planning:Â Manage operational budgets to support cross-functional speed of execution.
- Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Collaborate with Projects and Services to ensure engineering deliverables meet lifecycle and site requirements.
- Partner with Manufacturing to provide robust, consistent technical support, ensuring design-for-manufacturability.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:Â Transform complex data sets into clear, actionable visualizations that inform senior leadership decisions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of professional experience in an industrial or high-tech engineering environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in Operations and Program Management.
