ThepositionwithinBalanceSheetReconciliationis responsible forreconciliation ofBalance Sheet Accounts forspecificbusiness Segment.Role supports the respective reconciliation segment leadsin driving full compliance of the Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation Policy.   

Responsibilities: 

CORE FUNCTION 

• EnsureBalance Sheet accountsassignedhave been reconciledinline withBSRS Policy andstandard /desktop documented procedure 

• Ensure reconciliation performedmeet the following: 

• All exceptions (including aged items, reconciliation breaks and unsubstantiated balances) breaching reportable thresholds have been completely and accurately reported ineRecon. 

• Supporting documentation has beenmaintained for the work performed and exceptions noted (including action required and ownership working with the Account Owner). 

•  Where applicable, root cause/s of recurring exceptions should bedetermined anddocumented (working alongside the Account Owner and Exception Owner). 

• Obtainfrom  Account owner and report the P&L at riskineRecon including any operational reserves taken 

• Appropriate action plans in place to resolve exceptions are accurately reported ineRecon. Where applicable, escalations have been donein accordance with the Balance Sheet Escalation Protocol. 

• Play a key role in supporting implementation of strategic ledger byparticipating in theUAT for the reconciliation function 

• Support escalationof material reconciliation exceptions in coordination with Account Owners. 

• Supportreconciliation segmentleadsfor coordination of all Internal and External Audits, Regulatory interfacing related to the CSDO Balance Sheet Reconciliation function.   

• Drivetimely,complete andaccurate attestation of all owned GL account keys in compliance with BSR&S Policy, reduce red account balances and any risk exposure 

• Supportreconciliation segment leads in partnering with BSGto drive monthly Account Review Forum (ARF) with Account Owners Groups and senior controllers and ensure all significant reconciliation and substantiation exceptions are highlighted and discussed for remediation. 

• Support reconciliation segment leadsto partner with Controller Transformation group to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control.

• Active participation in global Internal Audits as well as KPMG audit engagements 

• Maintainappropriatedocumentation/controls to ensure the integrity of financial, regulatory and management information 

• Support creationof  effective control environment to ensure adherence with all internal and external policies and procedures.  Direct and coordinate audits and internal reviews 

• Drive zero tolerance culture on control breaches 

• Drive and coordinate remediation of all high and medium risk EUCs 

Qualifications: 
As a successful candidate,you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: 

• The ideal candidate willhaveextensive years (0-2) of proven experience related to accounting, financial reporting and/ or product control. 

• Abilityto analyze complex set of financial data andknowledge of US GAAP / IFRS preferably in banking / financial services environment.  

• Ability to influence peers and business partners totake action necessary to achieve goals 

• Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite 

• Financial management competencies 

• Demonstrated ability to manage in a complex and dynamic environment 

• Team building and mentoring skills arepreferred 

• Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions 

• Ability tosupport implementationsand work closely with project teams 

• Ability tocoordinate with team members in distributed geographic environments 

• Ability to work across functional areas 

Education: 

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience  

Requisitos

• Escolaridad: Licenciatura en Contaduría (Título Necesario)

• Experiencia de 1 a 3 añosenárea de finanzas. Conocimiento y experiencia en conciliaciones bancaria, elseguimiento de cuentas y laelaboración de reportes contables, conocimiento en normas de información Financiera (NIF), legislación fiscal vigente y elaboración e interpretación de estados financieros.

• Necesario manejo deinglés intermedio alto.

• Manejo de Excel Avanzado.

• Habilidades analíticas, facilidad para toma de decisiones y para resolución de problemas, liderazgo.
