About the role 

As our D2C Accounting Specialist, you'll manage accounts receivable (AR) for China's direct-to-consumer (D2C) business across e-commerce and retail channels. You'll handle AR activities including SAP processing, reconciliation, financial controls, exception management, plus AR solution setup and go-live support.  

Required Qualifications 

• Solid accounts receivable experience, within e-commerce, retail or other consumer-facing businesses 

• Experience with Chinese e-commerce platforms 

• Strong mindset with process improvement 

• Strong variance analysis skills 

• Strong problem-solving skills 

• Comfort with change 

• Genuine ownership and accountability 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with regulatory compliance 

• Experience with business reporting 

• Strong critical thinking skill 

• Experience with data analytics, automation and process digitization tools, such as Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, Python or similar tools. 

Experience: 

• 8+ years of overall professional experience, including 5+ years of relevant eCOM/retail experience in AR, preferably within e-commerce, retail or other consumer-facing businesses.  

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance would be preferred  

What you'll build (your key responsibilities) 

• Manage accounts receivable for China's D2C across e-commerce and retail 

• Support to set up AR solutions and SAP processing for new channels 

• Reconcile platform settlements and handle exceptions through root-cause analysis, professional judgement and effective resolution 

• Translate business requirements into effective finance and AR solutions 

• Support the Douyin B2C go-live and stabilization 

• Strengthen AR financial controls as the business scales 

• Build deep expertise in China D2C finance, SAP, and platform-specific and retail AR, becoming a trusted SME for complex D2C topics

You'll join the AR team in our BSO China team, part of the LEGO Group. We work in a collaborative, open way — a safe space for everyone — providing reliable, agile, and value-adding finance operations. You'll gain broad exposure across finance processes，markets group and cross-functional transformation projects. 

What success looks like 

In your first year, you'll establish solid ownership of the Douyin AR scope, supporting a successful go-live and stabilization and ensuring stable, well-controlled operations. You'll support the launch from day one, help it stabilize, and keep improving it, building deep expertise in China D2C finance along the way. 

Looking ahead, the team is expanding China's D2C business, simplifying and standardizing finance processes, and strengthening controls and scalability — so there's room to grow. You'll work closely with China D2C KAM, finance and treasury partners, digital and order-management teams, global and regional D2C finance colleagues, and external platform partners.
