Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the production unit, warehouse, and transportation functions. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, optimizing resources, maintaining safety standards, and driving process improvements to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations for timely order fulfillment
• Ensuring optimal workforce productivity and effective resource utilization.
• Coordinate transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Optimize routes and manage fleet utilization to reduce operational costs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and staff across production, warehouse, and transportation functions.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate operational risks.
• Supervise supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and service reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
• Identify potential operational risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in operations management especially inmanufacturing, warehousing or logistics field.
• Proficiency in operations management software, and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of driving performance and achieving operational goals.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to resolving challenges quickly and efficiently.
