nVent is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to support cash application processes, ensuring customer payments are applied accurately and timely while maintaining account accuracy and supporting efficient accounts receivable operations.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Apply customer payments, match incoming payments, record deductions, and ensure accurate, compliant AR posting.

  • Manage customer deductions, disputes, and documentation requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with customers and distributors.

  • Serve as the primary contact for AR-related inquiries, resolving account issues and communicating progress and solutions.

  • Prepare and distribute AR reports, including aging, collections status, performance targets, and ad‑hoc analyses for month‑end, quarter‑end, year‑end, and audit needs.

  • Maintain compliance with nVent policies, internal controls, and applicable credit management regulations.

  • Ensure timely invoice dispatch, monitor collections against contractual terms, and follow up on overdue accounts through regular aging analysis.

  • Review and evaluate customer disputes based on order details, product circumstances, and policy requirements.

  • Coordinate claims processing with Customer Service, Finance, and Logistics to ensure complete and accurate review before settlement.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of Accounts Receivable operations.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Business is preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Credit Management, Customer Support, or Collections.

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIF, and other data analysis functions).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling customer payments, accounts, and financial information.

  • Proactive behavior, results orientation, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
