We are hiring experiencedSenior Software Engineer (Backend & Cloud Services)with strong backend development expertise and deep experience in AWS cloud services. You will design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that power critical services, including mobile backend, identity management, and stable product platforms. This role involves technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers while leveraging modern frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services usingNode.js,JavaScript, andTypeScript.

• Build secure and performantRESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Contribute tosystem architecture discussions and lead technical decision-making.

• ApplyTest-Driven Development (TDD) and maintain high test coverage across all deliverables.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using frameworks such asJest orMocha.

• Deploy and manage applications usingAWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS).

• ImplementCI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or similar tools.

• Integrate software with monitoring and support tools for operational excellence.

• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality features.

• Participate inagile planning, pair programming sessions, and retrospectives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

• Maintain clear technical documentation and promote engineering best practices.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development withNode.js andJavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong experience designing and consumingRESTful APIs and microservices.

• Hands-on experience withAWS cloud services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

• Familiarity withserverless frameworks andInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK or CloudFormation.

• Proficiency withCI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

• Strong understanding ofsecurity, scalability, and performance in backend systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge ofGraphQL,WebSockets, orevent-driven architecture.

• Experience withIdentity and Access Management (IAM), OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.

• Exposure toDocker,Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.

• Familiarity withmobile app development lifecycle and front-end frameworks such as React.

• Background inAgile methodologies and working in cross-functional squads.
