About the Role

We are looking for a skilledNode.js Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our products. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-performance and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful / GraphQL APIs and backend systems usingNode.js.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such asMongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for data modeling and optimization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and other security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system stability and uptime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in backend development withNode.js andExpress.js / NestJS / Fastify.
• Strong understanding ofasynchronous programming,event-driven architecture, andmicroservices.
• Experience withdatabases (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization.
• Familiarity withDocker,CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience withmessage queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Knowledge ofserverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).
