IT Support Specialist

Job Description
 

We are looking for an IT Supporter, who strengthens our service-oriented and professional team in our main office in Pfäffikon.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

• Provide professional 1st and 2nd level on-site support for approximately 500 users at our headquarters in Pfäffikon;

• Deliver remote support for colleagues across our global offices including Hong Kong, New York, London, Dublin and other locations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, application, and workplace technology issues within agreed service levels (SLAs);

• Accurately log, categorize, prioritize, and route incidents and service requests using ITSM best practices;

• Escalate complex issues to specialized teams and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution;

• Prepare, deploy, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and related peripherals;

• Support onboarding, relocation, and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless user experience;

• Collaborate closely with Digital Workplace, Infrastructure, Security, IAM and other IT teams;

• Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying recurring issues and opportunities for automation, self-service, and AI-assisted support;

• Create and maintain knowledge articles, user guides, and operational documentation, leveraging modern productivity and AI tools where appropriate;
• Participate in IT projects, technology rollouts, and workplace modernization initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field;

• Proven experience in IT support, service desk, or end-user computing environments;

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365, mobile device support and hardware troubleshooting and deployment;

• Comfortable working with modern AI-enabled workplace technologies and motivated to continuously learn and adopt new tools that enhance productivity and user experience;

• Familiarity with ITSM processes, including Incident, Request, Knowledge, and Asset Management;

• Experience working in a financial services environment is an advantage;

• Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment;

• Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team culture;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus.
