Job Description
The Analyst will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing key operational processes and technology solutions that enable Fund Accounting and Operations to function efficiently, effectively, and at scale within a well-controlled environment.
This role is focused on reconciliation automation, process optimization, system integration, and application support, with primary responsibility for solutions centered around SS&C Advent Geneva, internal databases, and related operational platforms.
The position plays a critical role in assisting in identifying process improvement opportunities, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, and ensuring the stability and effectiveness of core operational applications. Responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders, supporting ongoing system enhancements, and driving automation initiatives that improve accuracy, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiency.
As a highly visible role within the Alternative Investments business, this position regularly collaborates with application users, vendors, internal development teams, industry service providers, and clients to deliver technology-enabled business solutions and support strategic business initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or technology or equivalent work experience
- General knowledge and understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts
- Proficient Computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application within investment operations and fund accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Good communication, both written and verbal and attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Independent thinking and assessment skills; utilizing critical thinking in problem-solving processes
- Knowledge or experience with ETL tools such as Adeptia, Xceptor, or Alteryx is a plus
- Experience with application and/or production support is a plus
- Experience with Operational software: Applications utilized in this role includes but is not limited to: Advent Geneva, FIS’ IntelliMatch Reconciliation, Adeptia ETL, Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,345.00 - $95,700.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
