
Career Ambassador
About the role
Career Ambassadors support the office with front desk responsibilities that include greeting and scheduling clients, triaging phone calls, and clerical duties including data entry and running reports from databases. In addition, the Career Ambassador may create marketing material for events and job/internship openings, manage department email and social media accounts, and serve as an ambassador to students by promoting and providing services to peers.
What you'll do
40% Provide customer services with clients of the office and employers- in person, email, or over the phone. Includes greeting, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and serving as a resource to those who need assistance with how to collaborate with the office.
35% Complete projects as assigned, i.e. creation of marketing material, advertising events on social media accounts, assisting with event planning and hosting, light office cleaning (e.g. dusting, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming, etc.)
15% Manage Handshake account and the Career Development email. Enter data into Handshake platform, generate reports, and other projects as directed.
10% Review resumes and provide peer mentorship and feedback to clients seeking assistance.

We are hoping to hire a student who has work availability Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Also, Friday morning.
