About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivatedAutomation Developer with 3–6 years of experience in software development and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills inKotlin/Java and Python, experience withAndroid Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android platforms, and hands-on expertise inCI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions forautomotive infotainment and navigation systems, ensuring high product quality, robustness, and efficient testing processes.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintainautomation frameworks and test tools for Android / AAOS-based systems
  • Develop and enhanceautomation scripts usingKotlin / Java and Python
  • Automatefunctional, integration, and regression test scenarios
  • Integrate automated test execution withCI/CD pipelines usingJenkins and GitHub
  • Collaborate closely withdevelopment and QA teams to ensure automation readiness and feature testability
  • Execute automated test suites andanalyze results to identify defects and quality gaps
  • Maintain and improvetest infrastructure and automation coverage
  • Debug issues usingAndroid debugging tools, logs, and system traces
  • Participate incode reviews and automation design discussions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement ofautomation processes and testing strategies

What You Need to Be Successful

Programming & Scripting

  • Strong proficiency inKotlin or Java
  • Good hands-on experience withPython scripting

Android / Automotive

  • Experience withAndroid Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android-based systems
  • Familiarity with Android development and debugging tools, including:
    • ADB
    • Android Studio
    • Logcat
    • Gradle

Automation & Testing

  • Strong understanding ofsoftware testing fundamentals
  • Experience withtest automation frameworks
  • Exposure toUI automation tools such asAppium or UIAutomator
  • Knowledge oftest case design techniques

CI/CD & DevOps

  • Hands-on experience withCI/CD pipelines
  • Working knowledge of:
    • GitHub
    • Jenkins
  • Familiarity withautomated build and test pipelines

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience withAAOS test frameworks such asTradeFed or CATBox
  • Experience working inLinux environments
  • Knowledge ofvehicle-level testing orHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups
  • Exposure toAI-based testing or advanced automation techniques
  • Prior experience withautomotive infotainment or navigation systems

What Makes You Eligible

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience inautomation development and testing
  • Strong foundation inprogramming, automation, and Android-based systems
  • Experience working inAgile / Scrum development environments
  • Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
