Hardware Technical Program Manager, Energy Storage:Â Â
We are seeking aHardware Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development, testing, and manufacturing of complex, box-level electronics assemblies. You will own program execution from concept through production, coordinating across hardware engineering, validation, supply chain, and operations. This role is about making sure our hardware — from circuit boards and flex assemblies to enclosures, connectors, and integrated box builds — is designed for reliability, tested thoroughly, and built to scale.Â
ResponsibilitiesWill Include:
- Drive end-to-end hardware program execution (requirements → design → validation → NPI → ramp)Â
- Lead cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, industrial design, test, and manufacturing engineering
- Plan and manage prototype and production builds, including materials, logistics, and factory readinessÂ
- Oversee board and flex releases, system integration, and validation testing (DVT/PVT/MP builds)Â
- Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive DFM/DFT reviews, yield improvement, and issue resolutionÂ
- Maintain clear build plans, risk registers, and program dashboards; proactively manage schedule and resource risksÂ
- Serve as the primary interface between Redwood engineering teams and external manufacturing partnersÂ
- Provide transparent updates to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting status, risks, and key decisionsÂ
Desired Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree a plus)Â
- 5+ years of experience in hardware program management, hardware engineering, or manufacturing operationsÂ
- Proven success driving NPI builds and scaling hardware programs to volume productionÂ
- Strong understanding of box-level assemblies (PCBs, flex circuits, harnessing, enclosures, thermal systems)Â
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills; proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environmentsÂ
- Willingness to travel to Redwood’s sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers as neededÂ

In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and skills.Â
California Pay Range:$153,000—$248,500 USDThe position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
