Pay rate:$24.27per hour.

Benefits:

• Vacation: Accrual rate of 2 weeks beginning the first of the month following the hire date.

Schedule

•8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

The Shipping & Receiving Worker will be responsible for preparing items for shipment, receives all inbound material, maintains inventory and supplies all shipping and packaging material to the plant. Specialized worker will be responsible for releasing products from cold storage facilities and scheduling shipments. A successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

CoreResponsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications.

• Load and Unload materials/finished goods with the use of powered industrial vehicles.

• Prepare shipping documentation and records. Ability to generate inbound/outbound shipping labels.

• Verify accuracy of shipping and receiving orders and records.

• Transfer products between cold storage and manufacturing facility.

• Enter and maintain accurate data in SAP.

• Assist in tracking any missing or delayed shipments.

• I dentify and recommend opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain the work area in clean and organized manner as directed.

• Continuous learning of other job duties and/or positions as required.

• Perform any other duties as required.

Work Environment:

Ability to work in potentially loud and in strong odorous environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditions, must be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry up to 50 pounds, have at least 20/40 vision in both eyes with or without correction, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull, enter tanks, and wear harness.

Required education and experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Additional eligibility qualifications:

• Read, write and speak English.

• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

• Forklift experience, a plus or ability to get forklift certification, required.

• Strong communication skills to share information, data, and ideas with peers and leaders.

• Computer literate and SAP experience a plus.

• Able to develop and apply mechanical/problem solving skills, preferred.

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety, a plus.

This pay rate is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job,education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment withmarket data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
