Material Handler - 1st Shift

Position Summary

As aMaterial Handler, you will play a key part in keeping our production floor moving smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving incoming parts, safely storing materials, and picking/kitting orders to support our production teams.

What You Will Do

• Material Movement: Receive, store, kit, and distribute materials to various fabrication and assembly departments.
• Inventory Tracking: Use our ERP computer system to log materials, and participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
• Equipment Operations: Learn to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (we provide the certification training!).
• Safety First: Maintain an organized work area (7S standards) and follow all OSHA and company safety rules.

What We Are Looking For

• Basic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals).
• Ability to read a tape measure, ruler, and scale accurately.
• Comfortable reading basic work orders, job packets, and instructions.
• Basic computer skills (experience with MS Word/Excel or inventory software is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Reliability and a strong commitment to keeping yourself and your team safe.

Pay:$19-$24/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 1st shift; Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, OT as needed.
